We are currently seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to work within a Special Needs School situated in North West London. As an SEN Teaching assistant you will be working within a school that focuses on supporting children with ASC and complex needs. You will be working closely with the class teacher, working in small groups or 1:1, helping to administer medications if required, managing challenging behaviour and work well within a team.
This is a full time, long term role. This vacancy has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. This is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable experience within a fantastic school with great facilities for both students and staff. I am looking for someone who is committed and driven, prior experience is preferred but not essential. We are happy to accept all CV's and are able to offer free CPD courses for those who would like further training before entering the classes.
Due to the nature of the role, applicants should be aware that personal care may be involved.
This is an Ofsted Outstanding school, that is led by a terrific headteacher who is well supported by his Senior Leadership Team.
