The School:
Our client school is a diverse and close-knit community school in Bromley BR1. The school has excellent resources and the team is supportive and values a good work/life balance. The Headteacher is looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant on a long term contract basis from January - July in the first instance. For the right candidate, there is a possible permanent role available from September 2022.
The Role:
You will be responsible for setting up and help running indoor and outdoor play activities that focus around the EYFS framework. You will be confident managing behaviour and working closely with a child who has special educational needs / Autism.
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have/be:
- A clear, enhanced DBS on the update service
- Passionate about SEN / Early Years Education with a positive outlook and good team spirit
- Ideally a minimum of 1 year's SEN Teaching Assistant experience (can also be voluntary)
