SEN Teaching Assistant
A lovely Catholic primary school based in Clapham Junction/Battersea are looking for a full time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This role will be Monday to Friday every morning 09:30-13:30
You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a girl in Year 1 who has special educational needs. She is non verbal and requires someone who can help with her sensory skills and PECs. She performs at a low ability and sometimes goes into reception class. This role can be challenging but she mainly gets distressed and needs calming sometimes as unable to verbalise how she feels at times.
Early years / Key Stage 1 / SEN experience is ideal.
