Role Information
For this position you will need to be an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who has worked with young pupils with SEN.
You will working closely with a pupil in Lower Key Stage 2 who has significant delay in their academic and social ability/interactions.
You will be working in a Mainstream Primary environment, working closely both in and out of the classroom with a pupil with ASD. The pupil responds well to guidance and the Head is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant who is able to concentrate, multitask and bring energy and enthusiasm to the job.
The ideal candidate will have good ASD knowledge and some experience of PECS and Makaton but the key to the job is a welcoming and approachable attitude to you role. The school are very willing to train the right SEN Teaching Assistant who shows passion and a willingness to get stuck in!
