What We're Looking For:
- Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant: The school require an experienced individual who has a proven track record of working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, preferably with a focus on supporting pupils with SEMH needs. Your previous experience will enable you to hit the ground running and provide effective support to the pupil.
- Confidence in Supporting SEMH: It is essential that you are confident and knowledgeable in supporting pupils with SEMH needs. You should have a deep understanding of the underlying causes of challenging behaviour and possess effective strategies to de-escalate situations. Your patience, empathy, and ability to build rapport will be key in creating a positive relationship with the pupil.
