A south London primary school are looking to recruit an SEN TA to join their school after the Feb Half term 2020. The role is full time starting on 24th Feb, with paid trial days preferable.

A mainstream Primary school are looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this Spring Term 2020. The Head is looking for a strong TA with management strengths to join their team.

Role Information

For this position you will need to be an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who has worked with pupils who either have SEN or those looking to get in to teaching, with a particular interest in SEN - behaviour and SEMH.

You will be working both within the classroom alongside the class teacher, and also running small interventions with SEN pupils. The children are lovely, very well behaved and enjoy school however you will need to be able to work under your own initiative, have emotional intelligence, be mindful of your tone of voice/choice of words and body language, have good concentration levels, the ability to multitask and bring energy and enthusiasm to the job.

The ideal candidate will have good ASD knowledge and some experience of PECS and Makaton but the key to the job is attitude and the school are very willing to train someone who shows passion and a willingness to get stuck in!
