REESON Education are recruiting on behalf of an 'Outstanding' 2 form entry Primary School in the Borough of Hackney. The school is based a short walk from a busy overground station, with connections to Central London and the surrounding Eastern suburbs every 10 minutes.

The school are recruiting for a SEN Learning Support Assistant to join the Early Years team ASAP until the end of the year in July. The role will be working on either a 1-1 or a 1-2 basis with 2 Reception aged pupils with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). The pupils do require substantial support throughout the day, both with engaging on task as well as with behaviour, therefore previous SEN Learning Support Assistant experience will be essential.

The team at the school are diverse, supportive and highly organised. Resources across the Early Years Phase are excellent, and the school operates a fluid class system at EYFS. With 2 combined classes, the successful candidate will be working amongst a team of 4 Learning Support Assistants. Each Learning Support Assistant will be responsible for different pupils within the room.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Early Years ASD pupils, however experienced KS1 and KS2 SEN Learning Support Assistants will also be considered.

Trial days can be arranged for the first week back after half term, so please do apply early to avoid disappointment. Daily rates of pay will also be negotiable based on experience.
