SEN Teaching Assistant - About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of children with Autism. The children in this class are needy and require dedicated and compassionate support. You will work closely with the class teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
SEN Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities:
- Providing one-on-one support and group assistance to children with Autism
- Assisting the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Creating a supportive and nurturing environment for all students
- Helping children with their daily routines and activities
- Monitoring and recording student's progress and development
- Collaborating with other staff members and specialists to support the children's needs
SEN Teaching Assistant - Requirements:
- Experience working with children with Autism or in a similar SEN role
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one through us
