A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Southall is seeking a dedicated ASD Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.

The Role:
Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD
Supporting pupils with communication, sensory needs and emotional regulation
Using autism-specific strategies such as visual timetables, now/next boards and structured routines
Supporting inclusion within the classroom and during transitions
Working closely with class teachers, SENCO and external professionals
Encouraging independence, confidence and engagement in learning
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience supporting children with ASD in a school or specialist setting
Good understanding of autism-informed approaches and behaviour support strategies
Calm, patient and resilient with a nurturing approach
Able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff
SEN qualifications or additional autism training is desirable (but not essential)
