SEN Teaching Assistant | Enfield | £82.14-£100 per day | Immediate Start | Flexible Working

Reeson Education is seeking skilled and motivated SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a number of welcoming primary schools in Enfield. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or a psychology or education graduate looking to develop their experience in a rewarding, hands-on role supporting children with additional learning needs.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be providing one-to-one or group support to pupils with needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language delays, and social, emotional, or mental health difficulties.




Role Details for the SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Pay: £82.14-£100 per day (PAYE)

  • Start Date: Immediate

  • Location: Enfield (Edmonton, Palmers Green, and Southgate)

  • Hours: Full-time or part-time, flexible days available




Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Work one-to-one with pupils to provide academic and emotional support

  • Support students with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)

  • Encourage independence, confidence, and resilience in pupils

  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to adapt learning materials

  • Help manage behaviour and promote inclusion in the classroom




Requirements for an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred

  • Knowledge of autism, ADHD, or social, emotional, and behavioural needs

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a caring nature

  • Adaptable and able to support across various year groups

  • Committed to promoting inclusion and equality in education
