Reeson Education is seeking skilled and motivated SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a number of welcoming primary schools in Enfield. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or a psychology or education graduate looking to develop their experience in a rewarding, hands-on role supporting children with additional learning needs.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be providing one-to-one or group support to pupils with needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language delays, and social, emotional, or mental health difficulties.
Role Details for the SEN Teaching Assistant:
Pay: £82.14-£100 per day (PAYE)
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Enfield (Edmonton, Palmers Green, and Southgate)
Hours: Full-time or part-time, flexible days available
Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:
Work one-to-one with pupils to provide academic and emotional support
Support students with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)
Encourage independence, confidence, and resilience in pupils
Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to adapt learning materials
Help manage behaviour and promote inclusion in the classroom
Requirements for an SEN Teaching Assistant:
Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
Knowledge of autism, ADHD, or social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring nature
Adaptable and able to support across various year groups
