A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Camden is seeking a skilled and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. The role will involve supporting pupils with a range of needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and developmental delays, across EYFS, KS1 and lower KS2.
This well-regarded school places strong emphasis on emotional wellbeing and offers a supportive, team-oriented environment with excellent leadership and professional development opportunities.
You will work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to access the curriculum, develop key communication and social skills, and build self-esteem. The role would suit a candidate with a strong SEN background, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
You will need to demonstrate:
Experience working with SEN pupils in primary education
The ability to support learning and emotional development in a sensitive and structured way
Confidence in working collaboratively with teachers, SENCo, and external professionals
A proactive and positive approach to supporting a range of needs
Strong organisational and behaviour management skills
This is a rewarding role for anyone who is passionate about helping all pupils reach their potential, and who thrives in a caring, child-focused setting.
