SENCO

A SENCO is needed for Easter or September at an excellent Secondary School in South London.

This will be a full time, permanent SENCO position.

The school is seeking a SENCO to undertake responsibility for overseeing the day to day running of the SEN department. This will include but not be limited to updating EHCPs for pupils, delegating timetables for Support Staff and meeting with other SLT to ensure departments are effectively handling SEN related matters.

Experience as a SENCO would be preferred but isn't essential.

However, you must have UK QTS and relevant training on a SENCO course in order to be considered for this post.

Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Behaviour Management and SEN Support practices will be essential for this SENCO role.

The annual salary for this SENCO position will be between £30000 to £55000, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are a recently qualified SENCO or experienced SENCO.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained SENCO or overseas trained SENCO.

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up to date DBS
  • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
  • Experience as a SENCO in UK schools
