I am looking for Secondary school teaching assistants to be placed in schools that I'm working with for either supply work or long across South London . The school in which I am hiring for are looking for any level of experienced SEN & SLD, PMLD Teaching assistants, KS3, KS4 and KS5 to begin immediately.

These positions I have available will involve either 1:1 support with SEN children or groups, academic support for SEN children and for general. For the jobs which include SEN, these will include SLD, PMLD, Autism, Down syndrome, GDD, ADHD and behavioural disorders. Within all the roles I have you will be expected to support the class teacher in order to keep up with time management and support them in all their needs.

The Children will be needing to achieve certain targets and you will help them reach their very best in potential. You may be split up through the day with SEN support then academic support through half of the day, to assist with subjects such as English, maths, science.

A genuine passion for teaching and children, high enthusiasm for the job of course resilience and punctuality is key. Learning tools such as Makaton, PECs, visual timetables and knowledge of Phonics is a key skill to have. However having enough experience and or relevant qualifications and the right personality is definitely something considerable in this field.

In return you will gain much experience and progression in the role you will be in, and also the chance to carry on a permanent basis. The opportunity to work with likeminded people and be a part of a very rewarding job.
