About the Sociology and Health & Social Care Teacher role:
This truly exceptional inner-London School is seeking a Sociology and Health & Social Care Subject Lead Teacher for a Full Time Sociology and Health & Social Care Teacher post from September 2022. As a Sociology and Health & Social Care Teacher, your ambitions should be aligned to the school's values and their mission: to ensure that every student will succeed at a good university or equivalent, thrive in their chosen field and live a great life.
Sociology and Health & Social Care are an important part of the school's Sixth Form offer, with large numbers of enthusiastic, committed and hard-working students studying both subjects every year. As a Subject Leader, you will work alongside other Subject Leaders and teachers to develop the curriculum - teaching and enriching experiences for our Sociology and Health & Social Care students. You will lead on Sociology at KS5 (A Level), and Health and Social Care at KS4 (BTEC Level 2) & KS5 (BTEC Level 3). You'll also be the Lead Internal Verifier, for the H&SC BTEC programme. Both subjects are extremely popular, and students of all abilities are successful on the courses.
