Come and teach sociology in one of the highest achieving schools in the London borough of Havering on a long term supply basis from September 2021. The school requires a dedicated sociology teacher with excellent subject knowledge to join their successful humanities department.
Due to a maternity cover an opening for a qualified teacher of Sociology has arisen at this oversubscribed mixed secondary school. The successful sociology teacher will teach sociology at GCSE and A level. Your timetable will be split between teaching GCSE and A level Sociology with 70% of your time spent teaching 'A' Level Sociology.
The school is based in the London borough of Havering and is 45 minutes from central London on the underground. The school is oversubscribed and has consistently been at the top of the pile when it has come to levels of achievement across all Key Stages.
The Sociology teacher post will be offered on a long term supply basis from September 2021 and the successful applicant will be responsible for teaching sociology at Key Stage 4 and 5, so must be qualified to teach A' Level sociology.
