A Sociology Teacher is needed in a mixed Secondary School in South London.
This Sociology Teacher role will be full time and long term/permanent.
The school are looking for a Sociology Teacher to teach KS4 to KS5 Sociology.
Standard class teacher responsibilities will be attached to this Sociology Teacher role. This includes but isn't limited to; planning lessons, assessing pupil progress and attending team meetings.
The ability and willingness to teach Psychology would be preferred but isn't essential.
The rates of pay for this Sociology Teacher position will range from £160 to £260 a day, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each applicant.
The School
A 'Good' mixed school for boys and girls aged 11 - 19.
There is a thriving 6th Form, as well as two sites.
The school is considered an Art & Enterprise Specialist, with the approach of making pupils Art orientated.
There is a strong focus on preparing pupils for employment in the 21st Century as well.
The school benefits from excellent facilities; 12 laboratories, an ICT suite and a talented team of technicians.

Requirements
You're encouraged to apply if you are a newly qualified Sociology Teacher or overseas trained Sociology Teacher.
You are also welcome to apply if you're a British trained Sociology Teacher or overseas trained Sociology Teacher.
All applicants must have the following as a must in order to be considered for this position as a Sociology Teacher:
- Right to work in the UK
- UK QTS or overseas equivalent
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- Experience of teaching as a Sociology Teacher in UK schools
