A welcoming primary school in Chiswick is looking for a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD in Year 1. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a child's learning and development.
The role:
Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD
Assist in classroom learning and activities alongside the class teacher
Help develop social, emotional, and communication skills
Support behaviour management and ensure the pupil feels included and safe
Work closely with the SENCo and wider staff team
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience supporting pupils with ASD or other SEN needs
Be patient, understanding, and proactive
Be able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Have a genuine passion for helping children thrive
