We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive primary school in Pimlico. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting a child in Year 2 with speech, language, and communication needs.
The Role:
Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to the child's speech and language development.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver individualised learning strategies.
Implement speech and language therapy programmes under the guidance of external professionals.
Encourage confidence, independence, and participation in classroom activities.
About You:
Previous experience supporting children with speech, language, and communication difficulties (essential).
Knowledge of speech and language interventions and strategies.
Patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach.
Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
