An amazing opportunity has arisen for a strong Sports Coach/Teaching Assistant in an Ofsted "Good" Primary School, located in the London Borough of Brent. The school is very established and currently provides excellent education across the EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Pupils require a range of support from academic to special needs. The post requires a talented Sports Coach/Teaching Assistant who is flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting pupils to achieve their full potential while remaining engaged in their learning within the classroom.
The ideal candidate for this role will have had previous experience working with young children in either a Primary School setting or as a Sports Coach. You will need to be able to take on extra responsibility when required and have a hard-working approach. This is an extremely rewarding role that needs someone who can take direction and be a great role model for the pupils.
The Role
Will Include Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
1:1 work with students with challenging behaviour.
Assisting the PE Lead in group sessions as a Sports Coach during Lunch time
Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
