Dedicated Student Support Worker needed ASAP at a brilliant Secondary school in South London.

This will be a full time Student Support Worker post, Monday to Friday.

Working hours for this Student Support Worker role are 8am to 4pm.

If you secure the job, you will expected to meet all standard Student Support Worker responsibilities, as well as uphold the ethos of the school.

You will need to be able to support pupils across all key stages and subjects as a Student Support Worker.

General responsibilities will include but not be limited to; assisting lower attainting pupils in class, working 1:1 with specific SEN pupils and carrying out brief refresher sessions for particular groups of children.

Primary responsibilities for this Student Support Worker role will be centred around providing pupils with effective support in the core subjects (English, Maths and Science).

Overtime, additional responsibilities and specific timetables can be provided, in order for the appointed Student Support Worker to further hone their skills.

The rates of pay for this Student Support Worker position will be between £70 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each candidate.

Requirements

  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
  • Experience of supporting/working with children from the ages of 11 to 18
