Supply Teacher

Role: Supply Teacher

Pay: £150 to £175 P/D (Depending Upon Experience)

Location: Enfield

Start Date: ASAP

Reeson Education are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teacher to join our team at a mainstream primary school located in Enfield. As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, teaching a variety of subjects across the primary curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum and the school's policies and procedures.
  • Creating engaging and stimulating learning environments that promote positive attitudes towards learning and the development of essential skills.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets for improvement where necessary.
  • Collaborating with other teachers and school staff to plan and deliver effective lessons and schemes of work that meet the needs of all students.
  • Building positive relationships with students, parents and carers, and providing regular communication regarding student progress and any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Upholding the school's policies and procedures with regard to behaviour management, safeguarding, and equal opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress, attendance and behaviour, and ensuring that these are regularly updated and communicated to appropriate staff.
  • Undertaking professional development and training opportunities to keep up to date with changes in the curriculum, teaching strategies, and educational policies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different teaching environments and styles.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion, diversity, and equality in the classroom.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and relevant educational policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with behaviour management strategies and safeguarding procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

This is a temporary position on an as-needed basis, with the potential for ongoing work throughout the academic year. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before commencing
