Flexible Supply Teaching in Brent - Regular work in Brent

To be eligible for this exciting supply teacher position, we kindly request that you meet the following requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS with TRN, demonstrating your dedication to the teaching profession.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of the UK Curriculum in your preferred year group, enabling you to deliver effective and engaging lessons.
  • Bring prior classroom experience, ensuring you can seamlessly step into the role of a regular teacher.
  • Possess a can-do attitude, a passion for teaching, and be available for at least one day per week to make a real impact on young minds.
  • Hold a valid DBS certificate (don't worry if you don't have one; we can assist you in obtaining it).

As a valued supply teacher, you will take on several crucial responsibilities, including:

  • Stepping into the shoes of a regular teacher who is absent due to illness, personal reasons, or other circumstances, ensuring continuity in the students' learning journey.
  • Adhering to provided lesson plans left by the regular teacher or designing your own engaging lessons when necessary, allowing you to showcase your creativity and teaching flair.
  • Creating a positive and safe learning environment, providing effective instruction to students, and expertly managing the classroom.
  • Evaluating student work and providing constructive feedback to support their academic progress, nurturing their growth and development.
  • Collaborating with school staff, including administrators and fellow teachers, to ensure seamless instructional continuity and maintain the school's high standards of education.
