With our competitive pay rates ranging from £135 to £170 per day (depending on experience), you can rest assured that your skills will be generously rewarded. We understand the importance of choice, and that's why we offer both PAYE and umbrella payment options, allowing you the flexibility to select what suits you best.
To be eligible for this exciting supply teacher position, we kindly request that you meet the following requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS with TRN, demonstrating your dedication to the teaching profession.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of the UK Curriculum in your preferred year group, enabling you to deliver effective and engaging lessons.
- Bring prior classroom experience, ensuring you can seamlessly step into the role of a regular teacher.
- Possess a can-do attitude, a passion for teaching, and be available for at least one day per week to make a real impact on young minds.
- Hold a valid DBS certificate (don't worry if you don't have one; we can assist you in obtaining it).
As a valued supply teacher, you will take on several crucial responsibilities, including:
- Stepping into the shoes of a regular teacher who is absent due to illness, personal reasons, or other circumstances, ensuring continuity in the students' learning journey.
- Adhering to provided lesson plans left by the regular teacher or designing your own engaging lessons when necessary, allowing you to showcase your creativity and teaching flair.
- Creating a positive and safe learning environment, providing effective instruction to students, and expertly managing the classroom.
- Evaluating student work and providing constructive feedback to support their academic progress, nurturing their growth and development.
- Collaborating with school staff, including administrators and fellow teachers, to ensure seamless instructional continuity and maintain the school's high standards of education.
