We are working on an exclusive basis with a number of schools in Redbridge and Havering that are looking to build a pool of qualified Secondary Supply Teacher to form "bubbles" who can satisfy the supply needs across all subjects for the remainder of the academic year. The Schools have well thought out, consistent and reliable practice in place to ensure staff and student safety being mindful that they still need to respect distancing, exposure and safety standards. As such we have agreements with a number of schools to provide small bubble groups of supply staff, who will attend a limited number of schools to try and limit the risk of Covid transmission.
To be a successful secondary supply teacher you'll be required to deliver engaging and stimulating lessons that have been planned and left by the regular class teachers. Your ability to build rapport with the students and staff quickly will greatly benefit you. A flexible can do attitude and an appreciation of different working practices will be essential to you having a successful day as is the ability to manage class behaviour. Students respect and remember a good Supply Teacher and as such it will give you the opportunity to put down roots in Schools that will be happy to consider you for permanent subject specific teaching roles.
