Reeson Education are currently looking for two support workers to work closely with a student who has been diagnosed with Autism within an SEN School.
I am looking for resilient and hardworking support workers who are able to manage the pupil's particularly challenging behaviour. The pupil is not compliant and requires 2:1 attention.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has Team Teach Training however this is not essential. Experience with manual handling would be beneficial.
This is a full-time, long-term role starting immediately. This position will be working with an Ofsted Outstanding school situated in Northwest London that has approximately 300 students within the school that has been diagnosed with ASC, MLD, SLD and PMLD
What is Autism?
Autism which is often abbreviated to ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) could mean that individuals may have trouble with the following: Anxiety, communication, social interaction, repetitive and restrictive behaviour, varied sensitivity to certain senses such as; light, sound, taste and touch. Children with Autism may rely on different ways to communicate this maybe through PECS and Makaton.
