The Role:
- Support students in KS3 and KS4, both in-class and in small intervention groups
- Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support learning and well being
- Help maintain a calm, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Assist in developing students' confidence, independence, and academic progress
- Contribute to EHCP support and classroom differentiation as needed
What We're Looking For in a Teacher Assistant:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school or similar setting
- Understanding of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and speech/language needs
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach to learning support
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
