Do you have experience as a teacher of the deaf?
Reeson Education are looking for a qualified teacher with experience as a teacher of the deaf to join a fantastic SEN School based in East London.
Ideally you will also have specific training as a Qualified Teacher of the Deaf (QTOD) although candidates with sufficient in class teaching experience without this will still be considered.
This is a full time and long term supply role starting ASAP (September start) that will probably turn in to a permanent contract for the right person. The organisation caters to children of all ages with Hearing Impairment on site in East London and also at resourced provisions at 2 mainstream schools in the community. The right person will be skilled in BSL and alternative communication and teaching methods. All the young people are hearing impaired however some pupils may have additional needs. Pupils behavior is exceptional and students attainments results have been commended in their recent Outstanding Ofsted result.
