Teaching Assistant Role Information

A Primary school in the central Royal London borough of Kensington and Chelsea, West London. They have expanded their facilities and are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in their site to support children within KS1. You will be working in a small class as part of a closely knit team of teaching assistants led by an inspiring, creative, positive, and highly supportive experienced Teacher.

You will be working with students within KS1, working 1:1 and with small groups. Some of these students can show some challenging behaviour also, but this amazing school provides supportive environment and to teach children to communicate their needs in more appropriate ways to support children who are showing challenging behaviour, so you are not alone to with this, you will have a supportive Teacher with you.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant

The ideal candidate will have good ASD knowledge and some experience of KS1, but the key to the job is attitude and the school are very willing to train someone who shows passion and a willingness to get stuck in.
