Dedicated Teaching Assistant needed ASAP at a mixed comprehensive Secondary school in South London.
The school is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis.
Work pattern for this Teaching Assistant role will be 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Job responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant post will involve supervising and providing support for students in class and on a 1:1 basis, assisting class teachers in the development of resources, schemes of work and strategies, as well as recording pupil progress.
In terms of qualifications and experience, the school is seeking a Teaching Assistant who is educated to at least degree level, has knowledge of working with young people with challenging behaviours, experience of supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and a solid understanding of proper Safeguarding practices in a school environment.
The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will range from £70 to £100 a day depending on the experiences and qualifications of each candidate.
The School
The school opened in September 2018 and have yet to be fully inspected by Ofsted. The pre-opening Ofsted report has found that the school currently meets all the criteria of a well-run school.
As of September 2023, the school will be opening a brand new Sixth Form.

- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- Right to work unhindered in the UK
- UK degree level education or overseas equivalent
- Relevant knowledge and experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in UK schools
