Teaching Assistant
A warm, efficient, and inclusive school in Brixton are offering a long-term Teaching Assistant role from after Easter until July 2023. The role involves working as a general Teaching Assistant across KS2. The role includes but is not limited to, taking break and lunch duties, running small interventions, completing administrative tasks and supporting the class teacher with additional duties. The position is initially until the end of the academic year, although it is likely to be extended for the right candidate.
Role requirements of a Teaching Assistant:
- Able to build rapport with students
- Experience working in KS2
- Able to work effectively with small groups.
- Able to start after the easter break and work full-time.
Main responsibilities for a Teaching Assistant:
- To assist the classroom teacher in take engaging lessons
- Co-ordinate effectively with Class Teacher
- To perform safeguarding duties
- Perform interventions
