An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded Primary School in North London starting in September 2023. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to support the planning and delivery of engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, assisting with their learning and progress.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional development.
- Assist in the implementation of behaviour management strategies and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students with additional needs, including those with special educational needs or English as an Additional Language (EAL).
- Contribute to the overall well-being of students, assisting with lunchtime supervision and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School setting.
- Sound knowledge of the Primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting teachers and contributing to the overall school community.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of young learners.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications, such as CACHE Level 3 or equivalent, would be advantageous.
