Experienced Teaching Assistant Wanted for September 2023 Start in North London Primary School

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded Primary School in North London starting in September 2023. This is a fantastic chance to make a meaningful impact on the education and development of young learners in a supportive and thriving school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to support the planning and delivery of engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, assisting with their learning and progress.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional development.
  • Assist in the implementation of behaviour management strategies and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support students with additional needs, including those with special educational needs or English as an Additional Language (EAL).
  • Contribute to the overall well-being of students, assisting with lunchtime supervision and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School setting.
  • Sound knowledge of the Primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting teachers and contributing to the overall school community.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of young learners.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications, such as CACHE Level 3 or equivalent, would be advantageous.
