Are you an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant seeking an exciting opportunity in Brent? Look no further! We are currently collaborating with a highly regarded, outstanding-rated SEN school in Brent that requires an exceptional individual like you to join their team.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant in this large and outstanding school, you will have the privilege of working closely with ASC students in small class sizes of approximately 10 students per class. These students may exhibit challenging behaviours, and your expertise and patience will be vital in providing them with the support and guidance they require to succeed academically and socially. If you have a genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of ASC students, this is the perfect role for you.

This is a full-time, long-term position that is available for an immediate start. Your dedication and experience will be valued as you work alongside the teacher to ensure that students with ASC receive the personalised support they need.

In this role, you may also be involved in personal care duties, as some students may require assistance with their daily routines. Your compassionate nature, patience, and understanding will be crucial in creating a safe and inclusive environment for these students to thrive in.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

- Providing exceptional support to ASC students in their academic and social development

- Collaborating closely with the teacher to plan and deliver personalised lessons and activities tailored to the students' needs

- Offering one-to-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance

- Encouraging independence and fostering a positive learning atmosphere within the classroom

- Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing regular feedback to the teacher

- Assisting with personal care tasks, such as toileting and feeding, when required

- Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to ensure optimal support for the students
