Teaching Assistant - Full Time - Brent - Immediate Start

Are you a compassionate individual with a passion for nurturing young minds? Do you possess the resilience and understanding to work with students on the Autism Spectrum? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to become a full-time Teaching Assistant (TA) at a thriving Special Educational Needs (SEN) primary school in the picturesque borough of Brent.

Our client, an esteemed primary SEN school, is seeking a dedicated TA to support and inspire students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). These students may present behaviours that challenge, and your role will be instrumental in helping them navigate their learning journey in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting ASC students, ensuring they are able to engage with the curriculum in a meaningful way.
  • Providing emotional support and implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Adapting learning materials to cater to each student's individual needs.
  • Collaborating closely with teachers to monitor and evaluate student's progress.
  • Encouraging student's independence and self-confidence, while maintaining a safe, positive learning environment.
  • What sets this school apart is their commitment to the development of their staff

The school firmly believes in the importance of a well-trained, specialised staff for student success. As such, they offer outstanding training opportunities to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to excel in your role and advance your career in SEN education.

This is more than a job. It's an opportunity to join a school community that genuinely values their staff, encourages career progression, and gives you the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of their students.

If you're an empathetic, resilient individual with a genuine interest in SEN education, we'd love to hear from you.

Please apply with your CV and a brief cover letter explaining why you're the ideal candidate for this role.

Together, let's light the path to a brighter future for our students.
