Reeson Education is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time SEN Unit Teaching Assistant to join the team in Balham. This role involves working within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) unit attached to a mainstream primary school, specifically supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
SEN Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to children within the SEN unit, focusing on those with ASD.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching team to address individual needs.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with ASD is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to the unique requirements of each child.
- Empathy and patience in supporting children with special educational needs.
