Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and differentiated learning strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed.
- Collaborate with the SENCO, teachers, and external professionals to monitor students' progress and provide feedback on interventions and support strategies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, particularly in supporting students with ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Strong understanding of SEN support strategies and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support students' learning and well-being.
