For this position, you will need to have experience as a ASD Teaching Assistant specifically supporting children on the autistic spectrum, as well as having a passion for enabling children with special needs to reach their full potential.
You will be working in a top Primary School in Enfield, providing one to one support as an ASD Teaching Assistant. The child is relatively 'active' so we would love the right applicant to have high energy, good with multi-tasking and bring that energy and enthusiasm that is needed.
As a successfull Teaching Assistant you will have a good knowledge of SEND and potentially Makaton and PECS (but not essential) and a desire to make a difference. The key to working as a ASD Teaching Assistant is a positive attitude and the school will go above and beyond for the right applicant and provide training in areas of development.
