An 'Outstanding' Primary school in Haringey are looking for a skilled and experienced SEN TA to work on a 1:1 with an EYFS pupil with Autism.

This high achieving school strives to ensure that all children are secure, happy and enjoy learning. This is a 2 form entry excellent primary school based in a fantastic West London primary school. The children, parents and staff together create a rich and diverse community.
The Role:
As an SEN TA at this School, you will be required to be adaptable, working with a lovely EYFS pupil with ASD. Supporting the class Teacher, you will help deliver learning activities, encouraging students with their academic progress and also managing behaviour in class. You must be able to work with students on a 1-1 level and use different techniques for challenging behaviour as and when required. The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will be experienced in supporting students with Autism and be familiar with PECs and/or Makaton. The role will also have elements of running interventions with pupils in EYFS in the afternoon.
