The School:
REESON Education are recruiting for a part time EYFS Teaching Assistant with a genuine passion for learning and Early Years education. Our Southwark based client school is a successful,2 form entry institution with a fabulous reputation and state of the art facilities. The school has a well-equipped EYFS provision and the successful candidate will be joining a supportive team with excellent leadership. The role is working 2 days p/wk (Thursdays and Fridays), with potential for additional supply for those looking for an increased number of days.
The school itself is part of a local federation who aims to improve the standard of education within the local area. The team has a passion for the local community and offers excellent support both to staff as well as parents and all pupils alike.
The school are looking to offer a long term contract to the right candidate, and there would be plenty of scope for career progression at this large, supportive school. The Headteacher is highly organised and looking to conduct initial interviews for this role as soon as possible with the view to secure a part time (0.4) Teaching Assistant ASAP.
The Teaching Assistant Role:
As a Part time Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the classroom, engaging with the pupils and working with Nursery pupils. You will be a supportive TA in the class to offer additional assistance and excellent resources to hand. You will also be required to monitor pupil progress on a regular basis ensuring the school's high academic standards are maintained across all subjects.
