I am looking for 3 experienced, dedicated and pro-active Teaching Assistant to join a lovely mainstream Primary school on a Part Time basis.
There are multiple positions available to start asap. The role would entail working on a 1:1 basis with a child who is in Reception and has a rare bone disorder.
This role would suit someone with a background in social care or nursing and some school based TA experience will be a huge advantage. You will be expected to support students with Hoist, Manual Handling Needs and Personal Care (feeding, changing and toileting).
The personal care duties will include:
- Changing the students
- Feeding orally
- Helping students to brush their teeth
- PEG Feeding (if trained)
To be eligible to apply for this position, you will need to be available to start immediately, as well as being able to commit to working 8:30 - 4pm, 3 days per week in Barnet. You must have a great team work attitude and friendly demeanour in order to make students feel comfortable, safe and enjoy School!
