REESON Education are currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to take on a role at one of our close Hackney partner schools. The role will be an ASAP Start and will be ongoing until July.
The ideal Teaching Assistant candidate should have a kind and caring nature who is able to work well with challenging behaviour and children form a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. As a teaching assistant within this school you will be working mainly with KS2 (Years 3-5), supporting them with their reading and writing, communication and social skills. You will also be responsible for supervising lunch and play breaks, ensuring all pupils are safe and adhering to school rules.
What does being a Teaching Assistant entail?
- Supporting pupils either on a 1-1, small group or whole class basis
- Reporting on individual progress
- Liaising with parents
- Managing Challenging Behaviour
- Working closely with the class teacher, SLT and SENDCO to drive improvement
