About the Role
A welcoming Greenwich primary school located near Deptford Station is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a pupil who requires additional academic and emotional support within a mainstream classroom.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to help the pupil stay engaged with learning, follow routines, and develop confidence in the classroom. The role requires consistency, patience, and the ability to build a strong, positive relationship.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is keen to recruit a Teaching Assistant who:
Has experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs
Is calm, reliable, and confident working one-to-one
Can support learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation
Communicates effectively with staff and parents
Holds an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to apply)
