Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Pay: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Reeson Education is recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a large and busy EYFS provision in the M34 area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about early years education and ready to make a lasting impact.

As a Teaching Assistant in this setting, you will be working within the school's EYFS unit, supporting children of all abilities and needs. The school is seeking a proactive and adaptable Teaching Assistant who can think on their feet, engage pupils in play and learning, and help them thrive both socially and academically.

Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Support learning and development within the EYFS framework

  • Work alongside class teachers to create a positive and nurturing environment

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support as a Teaching Assistant

  • Assist with personal care, snack routines, and daily transitions

  • Adapt activities to meet the needs of all learners as a Teaching Assistant

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families

  • Support children with SEND within the EYFS provision

  • Promote independence and confidence in every child

  • Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently as a Teaching Assistant

  • Be an active and reliable part of the EYFS team as a Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in EYFS or as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school

  • Understanding of early years child development and the EYFS framework

  • Flexible, quick-thinking, and able to adapt to a busy provision

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

  • Full commitment to a long-term Teaching Assistant role
