Are you a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant with experience supporting visual impaired?
The Teaching Assistant for Visual Impairment Support will be working closely with students who are blind and partically sighted.
You will work with students on a 1-1 basis and with small groups.
The setting caters to students aged 11 - 25 years with visual impairments in a state of the art and fit for purpose school site.
The school ideally want a Teaching Assistant with some experience working with VI before - this experience can be with children or adults, paid or voluntary.
You will support students with access to their learning in all curriculum areas, with community interactions and independence.
This is a positive and friendly team with lots of fun activities taking place each day for the students and a great feeling of team work and support among staff. The School is rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and is trully a specialist setting for Visually Impaired learners.
