SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism Support - Primary School - Haringey
Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism and additional learning needs? A vibrant and nurturing Primary School in Haringey is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The Headteacher is seeking Psychology Graduates and experienced Teaching Assistants who can bring energy, understanding, and compassion to the classroom. The school has an excellent SEN department, with strong staff support and ongoing training available.
Your responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with Autism and related needs.
Adapt learning activities to suit individual abilities and interests.
Teaching Assistant to support emotional regulation and social interaction throughout the day.
Teaching Assistant to liaise with teachers, SENCo, and parents to ensure consistent progress.
Teaching Assistant to contribute to a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
We are looking for:
Psychology Graduates or SEN Teaching Assistants with experience in primary schools.
Knowledge of Autism and a genuine passion for supporting children's growth.
Excellent communication, patience, and empathy.
A proactive, hands-on approach to learning and behaviour support.

Start: 5/6th November 2025
Pay: £85-£100 per day (depending on experience)
