Teaching Assistant - 1:1 ASD Support - Haringey, North London
A welcoming Primary School in Haringey, North London is seeking a confident Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism and ADHD on a 1:1 basis. This Teaching Assistant role is based in a mainstream classroom where all pupils have varying SEND needs, so resilience and adaptability are key.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide structure, emotional regulation support, and learning assistance throughout the day. This Teaching Assistant role requires someone who can build trust, follow behaviour strategies, and remain calm in challenging situations.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
Has experience with ASD and ADHD
Is confident working 1:1 as a Teaching Assistant
Holds an Enhanced DBS or is willing to process one
Can follow behaviour plans and support learning
This Teaching Assistant role offers long-term stability with the potential to go permanent.
