Teaching Assistant - Full-Time - KS1/KS2 & OPAL/PE Focus - Deptford - Primary School - Temp to Perm
A forward-thinking primary school in Deptford is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils in the classroom and leading engaging activities during play and PE sessions.
This Teaching Assistant role starts in September 2025 and is a temp to perm opportunity for the right person who wants to make a real impact in children's learning and development-both in and out of the classroom.
As a Teaching Assistant, your role will include:
Delivering academic support to pupils across KS1/KS2
Providing targeted support outside the classroom to help pupils stay on track
Leading active, engaging playtimes as the school's OPAL Lead
Assisting the PE Coordinator in delivering lessons and organising resources
Helping run after-school football clubs with enthusiasm and initiative
Promoting positive behaviour and a love for learning across all activities
Being a proactive and adaptable Teaching Assistant throughout the school day
Contributing to a supportive and inclusive school culture as a valued Teaching Assistant
