Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Haringey
A supportive and welcoming primary school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about education and supporting children across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide classroom support, work with small groups, and deliver 1:1 support to pupils who may need additional help. The school offers excellent guidance and values the important role a Teaching Assistant plays in children's learning.
The role of a Teaching Assistant includes:
Supporting pupils' learning across a range of subjects
Helping with behaviour management and engagement
Assisting teachers with preparation of lessons and resources
Providing additional support for pupils with SEN
Requirements for a Teaching Assistant:
Previous experience in a primary school is desirable
Enthusiasm, patience, and strong communication skills
A caring and proactive approach
This is a long-term role starting immediately with the potential for a permanent position.
Location: Haringey, North London
Pay: £85-£100 per day
