Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Behavioural Support - Year 4 - Haringey Primary School
A well-regarded Primary School in Haringey is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil in Year 4 who presents behavioural and social challenges. This Teaching Assistant role would suit someone with strong interpersonal skills and a calm, resilient approach to behaviour management.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will help create structure, consistency, and a supportive learning environment for the child while working closely with the class teacher and SENCo.
Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
Provide consistent 1:1 behavioural and emotional support.
Use positive reinforcement strategies to promote focus and learning.
Support with social skills and transitions throughout the school day.
Collaborate with teaching staff and external agencies as needed.
Requirements:
Previous Teaching Assistant experience with behaviour or SEMH.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and use de-escalation techniques.

Start: Immediate
Pay: £85-£100 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: 8:30am-4:00pm
