Role - Teaching Assistant
Location - M14, Manchester
Duration - Full-time, Long-term (Monday to Friday)
Hours - 8:30am - 4:00pm
Pay - £13.69 - £15.87 per hour
Reeson Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in a KS2 classroom providing 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH and ADHD needs. This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role offers the chance to make a real difference in a child's learning and wellbeing.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with a KS2 pupil on a 1:1 basis, tailoring support to their individual needs.
- Support engagement in all classroom activities, providing focused learning opportunities.
- Implement strategies to manage behaviour, support emotional regulation, and build confidence.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure a consistent, nurturing environment.
- Use your skills as a Teaching Assistant to foster progress in both academic and social-emotional areas.
- Monitor and assess progress, reporting observations to staff as needed.
