Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
Pay: £13.69 - £15.87 per hour

Reeson Education is seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a busy SEN primary school in M19. The Teaching Assistant will work with pupils who have ASD, ADHD, SEMH, SLD, and other additional needs. This full-time Teaching Assistant role is perfect for someone adaptable, resilient, and passionate about supporting all learners.
Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions as a Teaching Assistant.
Support pupils with complex needs as a Teaching Assistant.
Collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored learning as a Teaching Assistant.
Encourage social, emotional, and academic development as a Teaching Assistant.
Assist with classroom activities, play-based learning, and structured sessions as a Teaching Assistant.
Maintain a calm, safe environment as a Teaching Assistant.
Observe and report pupil progress as a Teaching Assistant.
Support behaviour management and positive reinforcement as a Teaching Assistant.
Participate in planning and resource preparation as a Teaching Assistant.
Promote inclusion and engagement across the school as a Teaching Assistant.
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Experience in SEN settings desirable.
Patience, adaptability, and strong communication as a Teaching Assistant.
Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply.
